Hi.

After a long search on the forum nothing appreared so might create a thread.

I'm trying to find out if anyone is using a harness bar (like tegiwas bar) to record videos.

Want to see how they look, as i think camera will sit too low for my taste.

Not interested on people running full cages as i already know how it looks from my old ek.

I have a harness bar and am of the same opinion as you in that it is too low to mount a camera.

It may be possible to raise it using some form of extension but it may impact the stability.

I did when I had one fitted, I didn't have a gopro or anything at the time it was just my phone in a suction mount ty-rapped to the bar. Civic Type R @ Oulton 8/11/13:

Thank you very much Ash. I thought it would sit much lower but it's not that bad. Shame I will need to remove the bar after each track day as I'm running my back seats.
How hard is it to install/remove? I've seen it bolts directly to the seat belt oem bolts (am I right?) Or you need to install longer bolts?

Helmet cam with an open faced helmet (as i have) sucks really bad Lewis lol

Once your side brackets are in its pretty simple to take the bar out for everyday use. Ok you need an Allen key/T bar thats it
