Got this problem i noticed started happening once the cold weather came in a month or 2 ago, it doesn't do it every time but it does it quite often...

On a cold start when I turn the key then the engine starts and I quickly let go of the key but the starter keeps going for another second and I get that noise like your trying to start the car but the engine is running, it lasts for only a second.

Any ideas whats up?

Its normal mate your starter motor has done an extra turn that's why it makes that noise
