Hi peoples!

Had my Kpro installed for a few years now. No problems, today I went into a car park that had those one way flappy security things you drive over, when i passed over it they flicked up and one hit something on the underside of the car and the check engine light came on (my guess is the flappy thing flicked up and hit the O2 sensor that goes into my decat pipe), when I run the Kmanager software no error codes can be seen. When I clear errors the engine light goes out but comes back on - still no code seen on the software.

hard for me to see the sensor and cable in the dark but seems in place, i'm just guessing the flap hit that. Any ideas ? is the car safe to drive? its not in limp mode or anything, seems to run fine.

Thanks in advance!

Finally the error is showing up and it says the secondary 02 sensor is malfunctioning. Took a look in the sensors page of Kmanager and shows 4.08V constantly (which im guessing is open circuit?) occasionally there's a blip in the reading and it goes from 3V and rises again to 4.08V. Until I can change the sensor up on a ramp, does anyone know the consequences of running the car with the sensor like this, will it switch to open loop mode or run rich as a safety measure or something else? Fro, what I could see the fueling looks fine when I did a datalog and seems to still be in closed loop but not too sure how to tell.

It should be turned off in the map so it doesn't monitor it. But if there's a fault in the circuit it'll bring on the light regardless. Won't cause any harm. It's only purpose is to monitor the catalytic converter and plays no part on fuelling.
