My engine light comes on over 8000 rpm.

Is this normal for a mapped car because I can go over the original 8200 rpm limiter to 8600 rpm?

Or has the mapper romain from euro spec put it as a shift light?

I doubt it would be a shift light mate must have a fault.

That would be the shift light,
I've got it on mine too - various rpm depending on the gear.
You can turn it off if you have k-pro

Life begins at 6,000 rpm

K100 so can't turn it off myself, but is useful anyway to keep away from limiter.

Not turned mine on yet as I can't think of anything worse than EML coming on at 8 k

its a shift light, of all the lights they could have chosen, only on latest k-pro 100
