Hi there, bought a k100 a couple of months ago off the forum and im looking to get it onto the car in the next couple of weeks. Just wondering if i put it to honda and get it re-coded will it wipe the ecu and put it back to standard?

Thanks in advance.

Also, had a look inside the ecu and just wondering if the k100 chip is soldered in or is it just on push connectors? just wondering so i could possibly remove the chip and place it into my standard ecu? (i do have some electronics history im not a complete NOOB)

No point trying to remove it and install into another unless you have the fitting kit. You have to modify the ecu to get it to work Just take it to a Hondata dealer and get them to setup the one you have.
I re-code them as well as tune the things ;)
