I think I remember 'evilowl' posting up a thread with direct links to an American website where they contain lots of different calibrations for K-Pro. I cannot seem to find it using the search function...... Even though I'm typing the same thing as I did a few months ago ... :scratch:

Anyone remember it? and if so, do you have the link?

thats all well and good, but most of them are tuned for 94RON fuel....will this affect anything??

The RON measurements in the US are not comparable to the UK

Our 95 ron is the equivalent of their 91, our 98 is the equivalent of their 94

I had a try at uploading on of the maps that the RSX boys had uploaded that best matched my mods, to my K-pro and set the mil light to come on if knock is detected.

Mil light came on after a few seconds just on tick over, so removed that map and just stuck to the "tunned ep3" map.

Not sure what I need to do get it right, apart from getting my car set up correctly on RR.

Would be nice if I could find something to suit in the mean while though!! :scratch:

I have knowlage of engines, but not in engine mapping etc.

Did you convert the map to UK format? If not I would suggest doing more research and not blindly changing things and thinking everything will be fine.

If you don't understand what you are doing then I would leave well alone if I were you.

You CTR owners are lucky as I ran the cold air map fine for a year when I had a CTR, but now I have a DC5 and can't find anything like that for it. Don't fancy spending hundreds on rolling road setup as I still want more mods before I have it done properly

unfortunately the links are dead, so I'll have to see if I can dig out the maps. It was 4 years ago since I last saw them so they will probably be on my laptop somewhere

This last one has definitely been modified because I increased the idle speed due to my ES mounts and disabled the launch control. I think I may have made other tweaks as well so if you're going to use it please check the tables!

^^ You need to open the RSX map in notepad and change the ECU type.

Can't recall what number it needs to be, check another UK map, 'CTR tuned' for example. :thumbup:

Then resave as a .cal file. Upload, don't mention anything about it on Hondata forums , happy days.

Go to the 'calibrations' folder in the K-Manager files.

Right click the RSX map, open with...notepad. :thumbup:
