So my dc sports mani has cracked open at the flexi ... Just wondering is it possible to get this fixed or should I just get new mani ?
Barring in mind the car is now supercharged and I imagine this is what caused the mani to crack with all the engine movement .

as far as I know you only need 1 set of energy suspension engine mount inserts. I think only the rear are fitted but not sure? It's said that only 1 set are necessary, with both sets the car will vibrate alot. they cost around £25, think I got mine from ABP motorsport although you can get them from loads of places.
As for manifold, it wouldnt be too difficult to get a hold of a 2nd hand DC sports, as this would not affect your mapping too much. Failing that, I think japspeed are of similar design? just trying not to alter the flow too much is it will impact your map somewhat.

its not been mapped yet man . just mapped with the same map from the previous k20 it came out off , so an upgraded mani would be handy anyway as its getting mapped in feb soon as this exhaust is sorted . so abp motoer sport have what i need ? will look into that just now aswell man cheers

Yeah will I poped in to a local one today ... I'm going to do away with the flexi and use a stainless pipe .
My mate had a manifold on his ep without a flexi and never had any problems so I'm going to try copy that see how I get on .

Well iv Got 3 options...
new manifold all together ?
Inserts in place and old flexi out new one in ?
Or cut flexi out and replace with a stainless pipe ?

Iv got them mate ... So what you recon is best ? Weld or new flexi ?

Yes we keep the front & rear engine mount inserts in stock for the EP3

These are Energy Suspension products so very good quality and the only type we fit when fitting the DC sports or Piper tubular manifolds

£26

Hope this helps?

Recently, my dc sports mani flexi blew, had to get a new flexi fitted. When i bought the manifold it looked as if the flexi won't last long however got just under a years use out of it. Car is running much better with new flexi!
