This is a picture of how the finished item looks when it's fitted with a BlitzSonic and a cold air feed. The heatshield is a replica of the original Blitz heatshield (which you cannot buy seperatley) but has been modified slightly to fit more CAI kits.

Each one is hand made to order in aircraft grade aluminium and the price quoted is to any mainland UK address.
European orders are welcome but will obviously incur additional shipping costs.

Regards,

EvoStu.

evostu, saw the picture, only thing with the KN filter, its fully exposed on the left hand side sitting level with the engine. in the picture the shield would not come back far enough along the engine, only covering the part of the KN. can you shed any light on this, as you say they are built to fit with most filters.

Hiya mate.

Any chance you can put a pic in the gallery?

http://gallery.themspros.com

The design can be altered to suit any open filter. This design also has 3 holes to choose for mounting the heatshield hence the generic design.

Let me have a look at the K&N fitted on yours and I'll sort it out for you no probs.

sorry mate, have not developed into the dig camera world as yet.
i will try and describe better
where the breather hose comes of the engine out towards the filter, my KN sits exactly level with it. the photo you posted that is the red piping from the engine to the fliter. if you can imagine the fliter just fitting onto the large duct from engine without any ram piping extension. if you are looking down on the engine the filter sits exactly level with it.
hope this helps a bit. just not wanting to fork out the cash mate if its going to be no good. just remebered the KN is similar to the quickshift but does not sit as far out from the engine.

cheers

Guys,

The first batches of these are due to be finished next week.

I know it's been a long time coming but at least they'll be spot on. Maybe autoleads should take a leaf out of EvoDad's book and get the R&D right before launch!!

Hello All

Have just ordered a heat shield after spending fecking half an hour setting up a bloomin Nochex account.

Any ideas how long these will take to be dispatched and also for those mechanically minded out there anyone give me some advice please on how and to what these should be fitted. (are instructions included)

I've also just ordered a quick shift kit as well from http://www.motorsportworld.com.
Anyone bought theirs from there and if so how long did it take to arrive???

Cheers in advance

Hey smudger,

No probs, they don't actually come with instructions as they fit where the holes are that are left from removing the OEM airbox (you'll see what I mean when you take the box off).

If you need help though, give me a shout ok and I'll guide you through the process.

The first batch are being made as we type. So hopefully shipment should start next week.

Any questions please PM me.

Thats it dude.

I believe Blitz charge a fortune if you want one of their heatshields? And these ones from EvoDad are better quality!!!!

First batch are almost ready. They are being checked for quality purposes.

I've just sent Dobber a mail about this.

They had a small last minute hitch with the finish on the filters therefore to make sure that they were ok they had the finish redone.

They will start shipping on Monday.

Pain in the arse I know but hey EvoDad wanted to get the product right thats all. Which is fair enough.

You guys are lucky, even I have to wait in the queue for mine! I have a mk1 version!
