Hello there,

I'd like to know the best way to improve the lowdown power of the CTR. Not a huge increase but just something to make it feel a bit more lively below 6000rpm.

Is a new air induction kit the way to go to achieve this or should I be looking at some other mod?

Thanks a lot and if this is in the wrong bit of the forum, my apologies.

An induction kit isn't really going to improve things low down. I think you should try maybe a GReddy ECU upgrade instead. This would probably have a more direct effect.

You'll feel nothing from a air filter.Depends on your budget & what you've already done. The Hondata ECU Flash would be a better choice & it'll add hp @ d top too. Let me know then I can help you m 8) re.

Isnt the easiest/cheapest way Air Filter and Exhaust combo. Although theres a lot of cheap crap around and is a potential minefield.

Thanks guys.

I've been following the threads on air induction/exhaust/ecu mods and the answer for me seems to be fit a new induction filter and exhaust.

As you say smartie, this looks like a potential minefield and since I don't have the first clue about modifying cars I think I might wait, at least until the CTR's warranty has run out.

Just in case I break something...
