After some (lengthy) research I conclude that the following Induction Kits (CAI) are my short list for my CTR:
1. HKS kit. Around $200 in US or 200 pounds in UK.
2. Blitz kit. Around 240 pounds in UK.
3. Mugen kit. Around $560 in US or CHF 1.200 from FOUR S SA (Switzerland).
4. AEM kit. Around $230 in US.
5. Spoon kit. Around $235 in US.
6. Injen kit. Around $300 in US.
7. DC Sports kit. Around $280 in US.

I think I will go for the HKS or the AEM kit.
Any opinions?

PS: I know that there are some other options like to ABPs and ‘like-blitz’ one, but I think that those kits are the most ‘well-know’ and they have some strong R&D behind them.

Get a cold air box, not an open filter in the engine bay!

Personally I like the sound of the AEM, but despite trying to decipher their website I can't tell which CAI is supposed to fit our car. the Type-R isn;t listed. a few people have taken a guess but no one actually knows for sure.

Does anyone know for definate which (if any) actually fit ours?

Noone knows yet. I spoke in their forum last week and they told me
that they did not have something yet for our CTR.
Is better to wait for the new AEM version 2.

I do not believe the version 2 CAI will fit your cars. As it is the original version is a tight fit into the wheel well (it actually indents the wheel well liner a bit) so I do not believe a wider pipe will be possible.

The AEM CAI designed for the Civic Si should fit your cars.

I'm talking about an AEM version 2 - not the AEM version 1 for the 2002/3 Civic Si. AEM is releasing a new version of their CAI which is basically dual length, they do this by having 1 tube inside another, which makes the whole thing wider than the version 1.

Sorry for the confusion.....
