I see Tachbrook Honda in solihull are selling a CTR 'SPORT' from £19,995.
It has the above induction kit fitted, Is this kit any good? Has anyone fitted one and how much? Where did you obtain it. Want to do something to my black beastie, to take it's performance to another level, that's not too expensive. Any Ideas?? don't get too technical with my little grey cells, I'm no mechanic.

you also get metallic paint, air-con, leather sports trim, carpet mats, front fogs, black tinted glass.

THe HKS kit is worth no more than 250 quid fitted. A sealed box could be no more than 500. A black metallic CTr should set u back 17500 max. So you are paying for a two grand induction kit.... hmmmmm.....

Many dealers create their own 'special editions' of cars, Lancaster Honda were selling CTR's recently with tints and an aftermarket cat-back system as new from the showroom.

Unfortunately, they will also want to make a profit from the parts they have bought, like induction kits. You're far better off buying the standard car and sourcing the parts yourself.

Also, the people that choose the 'performance' add-ons are not always techinical people, rather sales people that see an advert in the back of Autocar or something and think 'what a good idea...'. Avoid.

just got a letter from Tachbrook. For the non technically minded like me, they have now opened a tuning department. Supply and fitting of HKS induction system £266.14, Mugen Manifild £1175 and HKS exhaust system £695

Thats quite expensive really considering that you can pick a HKS up for £155 delivered.

So they are charging you over a ton for the fitting????? Rip off merchants!
