Hi guys.
This thread as probably been over discussed a million times but.. hey oh.
I'm basically looking to replace my standard ep3 wheels for something new.
My car isnt lowered as of yet but i do plan on doing so in the future on eibach springs.
The wheels im looking at are rota titans fitment 17×8.0", 5×114.3, ET 42 and the other set is XXR's527 17x8.25", 5x100/114.3, ET25. The question im looking for is are these the right fitment for my car and would i have to roll the arches?, buy spacers or longer lug nuts?.. this is my first time buying aftermarket wheels so i have no clue! I'm hoping to save money by re-using my tyres which are 205/45/17 would they also be fine to use or would i be looking at buyng new?. Cheers all

The rota titans should fit fine with no arch issues. The XXR's however will require work in particular on the rears with rolling the arches and running a lot of negative camber.
You'll need to check what wheel bolt fitment is for the new wheels but 99% of them will be a 60° taper. Original Honda use a ball taper so you'll need new wheel nuts. DON'T buy fancy aluminium ones. Get some steel/alloy nuts. Muteki make steel nuts in fancy colours if that's your game.
205 width tyres will help with clearance but will look a little stretched. Ideally you want 215/45 17 size tyre.

Cheers lewis. Think its worth me taking a visit to my local honda/jap shop they have both these wheels in stock. I do like the xxrs but if it requires rolling arches i think i may pass on those [emoji106]
