So fitted project Mu pads today, after I realised they were slightly too long.

Was already too deep into the job to put everything back on, so had to file down the edges of the pad to get them to fit. Not an ideal situation for brand new pads.

Anyone had this issue or anything before?

Yep loads of times mate sometimes the paint is a bit too thick.

Thanks for the reply mate, I definitely had to take more than just the paint off lol

As long as they fit snug but no too loose in the caliper carrier they will be fine.
