Just a quick noob-like question. I have DC5 calipers, S2000 discs, goodridge stainless hoses, motul 5.1 and the necessary spacers.

My question is what the hell is a shim lol! Where do you upgrades from to stop squeaking? I havnt fitted mine but when I do I'll follow this thread.

My other question is once that's done and I put the car away the next day do I have to still be gentle with the brakes to get hear in them again or can I just use them like normal after bedding..
