Hi. Price seems high for the mileage imo although you wouldn't need to worry about the engine providing oil was changed every year. It really is bulletproof. My max would be £4750

Take your time and you will no doubt find a lower mileage and cheaper fn2. I was looking for 3 months before finding mine. Will be worth it mate

Thanks mate. Top tip would be

Low mileage (upto 60-70k)
Fsh (Honda or specialist)
The writups! Anyone looking at selling a loved and looked after fn2 will be doing so reluctantly, and will be putting as much details in it as possible. Look at the seller? Is it a older family man or a young chav lol. Mine was the first i saw in person after months of research and it ticked all the boxes. Don't feel pressured into buying the first one you see. Take you time

Try not to go with a dealer, They just add 1500-2k to car and give it a good clean. Which is fine it is there job and they need to put food on table too, but unless you need finance or want to use a card to pay then private sale or auctions is the way to go. Most dealers cars have been bought from auction, tarted up, niggles fixed and price whacked in screen. If your clever about it and know what your looking at the auctions can be a good bet, the downside is you get what your given and after frequenting mine for some time only 2 FN2s came through in about 3 month, neither of which i bought. Go see the privates, dont be too put off by little things or the fact it might not be as sparkly as a dealers as for £60 you can get a good valet sometimes from the companies that go to the dealerships unless they have their own in house valeter.
