Same here I'm the NHB down your street.

I'm aware of there being up to three different silver CTR's (been watching number plates).

Are you the facelift that ocassional parks the other end to me or the one of the pre's that park near me?

And how frustrating is it trying to park down our road!!!

Mate - Im the Pre that lives a few doors down - Dont start on the street parking - The bumps keep increasing and im not going to bother getting Chips Away to do the car again until i move! Really tempted on moving at the mo just to get a bloody driveway!

Will say hi next time i see ya!

So what mods you got, im thinking of putting an AEM CAI in in June and Spoon N1. I would upgrade to facelift but not now until i move! May however wait and get the new Type R!!

Pre 02 with child seat in the back? or no seat lol? I'll wave nxt time I see you.

I would of got a new premier, but like you said it's not worth it when the brats play footy nxt to your car not to mention the idiots that cant drive (watch that blue nova - hit me x2 now!). I have another year of Richmond st joy before I move.

NHB pre, fogs, facelift rear lights, earthing kit, Simota carbon fibre induction kit, heat shield, facelift seat covers, VTEC light, JVC headunit with Ipod interface.

Ordered new plates as mine are a tatty. Need to find a place to do my tints, and also looking at new exhaust system. Might try paint my calipers this weekend if I can park near the house lol.

Doing any meets? Only had the car a few months so havent had a chance to see what the local owners are like. Waved at few peps but so far only a white ctr has ever waved back

LOL - Yeah i know about the nova - not hit me yet but you can tell!! Ive got a few that i keep away from!!

Mate dont start about those kids ive had a word a few times with them! I only been in Richmond for a year and half but think i may move in the next year!

Try two car seats in the back - would have had an S2000 if i didnt!

No mods as yet, mrs keeps saying waste of money and should be spent on the kids and house!!

Had a few nods from others but not many. I havent been to any meets yet.

How you finding the simota?

You had any problems with your CTR yet, ive had a few of the usual ones - steering rack for example.

The thought of having kids cramp my cars style is a worry but have a few years before I have that problem.

I got mine from a garage in london and apart from some service stamps I dont have much else so I have no idea whats gone wrong in the past before I got it.

Dont listen to her mod away. Push button start, tints (hide the seats) and spoon goodies you should get.

I have the normal steering problem where it occasional seems to pull one side but apart from that mines ace just a bit dirty under the bonnet but working on that. I saw you had a rattle problem (looked at your posts), but cant say I have but then again my car gets loud on the motorway so prob blocks it out. Simota is okay but the filter wasnt a nice noise so it has a pipercross now. Want the AEM v2 next and maybe spoon exhaust. Just had to pay the insurance (only been driving 14 months ££££) so cant quite afford it yet.

Anyway I'm Martin ill keep an eye open for you.

btw - Did you take up the MAC course with Lloyd Brown?

Quirk of the car - the steering - just if you get a a creaking noise then you know you need a new steering rack!!!

Might join in the group buy for AEM V1 - If you want a V2 then they are also doing this on there - ends soon though!

Yeah insurance is expensives - especially if you have your mrs on it who only passed her driving test in Nov 05 - I wouldnt have minded a CTR for my first car! Mind you shes too scared to VTEC so dont think she will have any problems!

Keep meaning to find out if any of the previous owners used the MAC as i moght still be able to if they havent.

Im Rob by the way

Hey Robster,

We finaly meet lol.

Sorry I couldnt stop and chat for long but I'm a taxi service for the missus.

Yeah my names down for the group buy as I want some noise. Sell the simota which should fund a S2000 push start

Where did you get your CTR serviced? Mines going to be in need of a service September and I'm thinking of maybe Lindhill.

No probs! I now how it is its more than your lifes worth if your late!!

Mines due for a service in June - Been using John Pease Honda in Braintree - Its not as far as you think - 35 mins. May be tempted to try the new one in Snakes Lane (Lindhill i think) - Only thing is John Pease Braintree give forum members a discount (15% i think it was last) which may tempt me back there - Great service aswell!

Persuading the mrs at the mo to get an AEM - i think im getting her round to the idea so will hopefully put me name down for one in the next few days!

I saw a new DC5 in Leigh the other day looked sweet - could be well tempted to get one - not sure whether to wait for teh new Type R to come out though. Can you fit kids in the back of a DC5?

Was it red by any chance?

Friends mate has a DC5 in red, carbon bonnet, tints, and a un-sprayed front lip. Its always parked outside the Alex in town Sunday afternoons.

Kids would go in, but wouldnt have as much room as your CTR.

Dont tell her about the AEM. I havent told mine about my future purchase although she is bound to work it out :?

The problem is how to get home once you drop the car off to be serviced  Shame there isnt a specialist near by.

Thats the one! Couldnt help staring at it, which i can imagine he gets all the time!

She would find out as soon as it gets delivered to the house, might try and get it delivered to work then fit it secretly and see whether she notices the difference - i bet she wouldnt!!

I usually go round the Freeport center while waiting - they usually drop you off and pick you up from there - i cant imagine a service will take long and would save the pennies for more modding!!

You going fit yours yourself? Im going give mine a shot. Heard its a bit harder than the V2 though so should be fun!

The guy that owns it is only 19  drives it like a unt lol. Its a nice looking car but not sure if he is aware that front bit is only primered and needs spraying. I keep meaning to talk to him about it as he normal parks behind me at the pub.

I was at freeport Saturday. Not to far at all might have to try them.

I'll do it myself. You will have to remove the bumper for the CAI which will be fun in our street lol. Can do it round by my mates opposite chalkwall park if you want a hand we can prob have it done in half hour.

How the hell has he got insurance on it when hes 19 - It must cost him nearly as much as the car!! Disaster waiting to happen!

I thought the Lip was CF at first maybe he does to! LOL

Pro fit it round my mum and dads as they have a driveway. From what ive read in the posts for fitting the V1 you only have to remove the wheel and give the wheel arch lining a slight trim so shouldnt be too difficult! (famous last words!) Might take you up on the offer for a hand if i struggle with it!

The suns out definitely got to give it a clean this weekend now! Bloody birds down the road keep craping on it! Not going to enjoy the summer without AC though!
