Hi im going to pick to test drive a type r 2008 with 80k i was really hoping some type r expert would come with to check it over for me... I know to check the doors for rust but thats about it :/

Check the roof line above the deal for rust.

There's no photos of the drivers side or seat?

Price seems decent for a dealer.

I have a type R 08 plate, it's done 59,000 miles
My advice is go over it with a fine tooth comb, inspect the wheels, a good owner will always want good tread. Inspect the interior, has he replaced the gaiter? It normally wears at around 45 to 50k, if not then why not? Is the battery the original? It's age has about reached its life expectancy.
Full HONDA service history, if not then ask why not? Remember he's trying to sell you a car, he will hide things and lie! Check EVERYTHING. The electric mirrors, do they fold in completely if not you are looking at £250 to fix them at Honda. Rev it, it's a sports car, it wants to be raced, this shouldn't be of concern to a guy with this car. There is soooo much I could tell you, just don't have the time.
You know the RAC will come and do a full check on it for you for about £100 and these guys know there stuff.

Had more work done since this, took the Honda badge off front and back and had them cover it in black Matt tint. It's booked in for tue to Infiniti exhausts Bristol.
