My LSD offered no help when I got stuck in 1mm of snow on a 1% gradient earlier this year in Germany. Every local, on winter tyres, carried on as normal. Even when I was rescued, I couldn't keep up with the snow plough I followed

If you want to drive safely in the snow and/or cold conditions, buy winter tyres.

Say it ain't so! An LSD not offering any benefit in the snow. Who'd have thunk it?

Perhaps I should have swapped my Continental Contact Sports for Toyo T1Rs?

I always thought an LSD required resistance to work against in order for it to lock up and do its thing :scratch:
