What is the purpose of the engine cover that some people take off ????

And is there any harm in taking it off, i suspect mine is causing a rattle :bad-words:

It's purpose.....to cover the fuel rail and show off an i-VTEC sticker. In other words taking it off will do nothing. Maybe it adds protection to the fuel rail...but no one drives with the bonnet off
