Had my car serviced at Honda yesterday. They informed me that the rear brakes are down to 30% which I found a bit odd since I've not had the front ones done yet. After a bit of research I discovered that this is likely down to the traction control. Anyway, that's not the point of this post (and there is one, I'm getting to it!)

Does anyone know of any decent (trusted) garages in the South East where I can get the brakes changed cheaper than main dealer please? I assume pretty much any garage would be able to do them? Or are there some awkward bits that will make it difficult for a non Honda specialist to change?

You may have worked out from the post that car mechanics is not my forte so any advice / information would be appreciated! Thank you.

You don't need to be changing anything at 30%.

Really? I mean 30% left, not 30% used so far..... doesn't seem like an awful lot.

What does your 30% equate to in terms of mm?
