You could just fill half a tank of Optimax and then just add some water. Thats all Mr Morrison does - Ive seen him round the back with his hose after the lorry leaves....

Optimax made no noticeable difference to my CTR so normal unleaded it is

Agreed, Optimax didn't for me either.

However, V-Power definitely does! Give it a go!!

Strange. Id does take a couple of tanks before you notice the difference. I actually had two different people comment on how my car seemed quicker. It seems to pull much harder in VTEC.

Am i been naive or what, What difference does it make what unleaded people use? Its all a price con with no end product by the sounds from various peoples comments... I bought a 55 plate ltd edition 3 wks ago and have filled with different fuel from different places. i.e tesco,BP,Shell.
Been unable to tell diddly squat of difference from any, part from in the pocket where prices differ here there and everywhere....

Tesco's petrol+water.... Thats the views round Yorkshire....

If you've just ran one tank of various fuels then it's not that suprising you've not noticed a difference. The only fuel that makes a difference to my car is V-Power.

It will also make a difference if your car is stock or not as to how the higher octane rating will perform

Yeah fair enough, But driving various other cars in the past, what petrol ive put in has never made a difference....... Only watered down sh*t from Tesco sees a difference and thats not good stuff im guessing. but point taken...

Have to admit i generally stick to supermarket 95. Sometimes stick in some BP 97 or shell 95 and then occaisonally Optimax depending on the price. It was 83.9 last time i checked
