EP3 Premier 2005
For me it's about what you want in terms of drive experience. Doing the daily commute, taking the wee men to football or having fun driving the car for the way it should, mods or no mods. I understand the benefits of the FN2, interior, newer shape but it all comes down to what you want for the average 2-3 year of owning. I've driven both cars. At first FN2, my mate had one, drove it many times. Then had a shot of the EP3 and regardless of lack of gadgets the premier edition was the car for me. Different drive and in my view its the better. Had it 2 years, got it with 32k and now at 52kits time to start thinking whats next, time to move on.
I've enjoyed the EP3 and had no problems at all. Only mod I've done it's the gruppe m. When I bought I noticed a difference in power, clearly nothing major but a difference (I hope there is because and it's not just me trying to justify the cost!). Noise on the other hand, you got to love it!
Next car f@cking with my head;
M3 - brother had 59 plate, what a car.
Subaru impreza wrx sti - never had a shot
Ford RS - again never had a shot.
All different cars and I know M3 is the dogs balls however its the most expensive to maintain etc - pennies are good to save.
The mrs is dying to get an Escort RS Turbo, she has taste.
