Just wondering if anyone had any of the following

1. Random misfiring on start up cold and hot engine
2. Crank sensor error
3. hesitation in acceleration
4. Intermittent starting
5. Noticeable more vibrations when engine running
6. Ridiculous hot enginee bay after an hours drive.

Ive had the crank sensor error and Honda said the car needed a system update but I'm not convinced an update has fixed anything. I don't know if there is something wrong or not but above sysptoms have been noticed for past few months so I'm going to book car back in for Honda to check!!

All sounds normal with the exception of intermittent starting.

Maybe it's a weak battery?

that's reassuring!! I'll ask if they'll check battery and if anymore more errors logged. Im only concerned about the misfiring tbh.

Mine sounds a bit lumpy or spluttery on cold start but I wouldn't really say it's misfiring.

Battery condition check was part of my first service.

I have had zero of these problems.

The engine bay temps are ridiculously well documented. Hours after driving it, you still get a blast lifting the bonnet.

Vibrations on idle is a characteristic of the engine. Spend any amount of time with the stop/start and you crave the stop time...

During summer, any period where the car is stationary leads to lag, lag, lag until you are moving. Again, it's just the way it is.

I really appreciate everyone's feedback. Previously had the fn2 and more than happy with the fk2 just needed reassurance other owners were experiencing same engine characteristics the new one brings although similar to the old one !! I don't think there's anything major wrong probably nothing wrong at all!! Loxy's comments a massive reassurance thanks a lot
