Boost pressure drops dramatic

Hi everybody.
Now that the summer has come I found out that my (and other) CTRs do not like high temps.
When I push it hard the boost pressure drops down to 1.0-1.1 bar (14,5-16 psi).
This means less power and this is not funny. Honda say there is no Problem and everything is fine.
I dont think so!
Anyone else with this experience? Any solutions?

What were the ambient temps and oil temps during you boost losses?
I've not had any issues myself.

Not had this issue and none of the other FK2 owners I know have reported anything like this?
Under what circumstances are you experiencing this?

Can you get someone to video the instruments so all can see ?

Normal boost is 1.4 bar.
Oil was 120°C, water 100°C, outside 22°C
Will try to upload vid...

Oil @ 120 degs C !?!?!?
Was that after a few laps in on a track???
I've been the passenger in a FK being driven at max attack in 25 degree ambient and the oil peaked at 110 degrees.

I got up to122C at Croft after 6-7 laps and then it held around there and no higher. Water temps were 98C.
No loss of boost though.

What ambient temp did you have on the track?

Pretty sure it was around 15C, not massively warm.

No Sir. The boost is missing all the way up rev.
Talked to HCTR. They have the same Problem and work on a solution.
They say its a Temp Problem from the air inlet and the hot air that dams up in the engine bay.
And as I remember the AC did lose cooling power when this Problem came up.

looks like a trip to AMD and have that bigger intercooler fitted that uses the full space of the opening looks good but also cost a pretty penny

Sry mate. But bigger intercooler does not help either. Tried the Wagner intercooler. Same Problem.
And the space for the cooler is very limited also.So the size factor is not the huge.
And the hot air still dams up in the engine bay.

Tegiwas carbon bonnet, rumoured around the £500 mark and due shortly, (which means a yr or 2)
Never owned a tegiwa bonnet so I'm unsure on fitments & quality, it looks to tame for my liking, the car needs an aggressive bonnet.
There's another bonnet available which is designed for intakes sucking in air, I can't remember who makes it though

Wouldn't the Eventuri induction kit with scoop solve this?
Obviously will only draw in air from the outside and not under the bonnet.

Just a thought, is the car remapped or stock?
