My Honda dealer just gave the fantastic offer of the century ....... 235/35 ZR19 Sports Contact 6 tyres fitted for £222.00 inc vat EACH!

Every other specialist tyre fitting company in the City charge around £160 inc vat (just been a police increase on the tyres from continental).

black circle did them for me fitted at a local ATS garage hence why im thinking of 2 more next month

£850 sounds a hell of a lot unless you had all 4 done ???

My 4th set of CS6's are being fitted the fronts tomorrow having covered 22,500 miles.

The demise of this 3rd set was hastenen by Eventuri borrowing the car last year and then hitting a pot hole so large last week its bent the wheel. :Waks:

It may be the last set I fit, as the wife is talking about test driving a CLA45 AMG!

The misses is just picking up an AMG spec A class tomorrow, was down there an sat in a CLA 45 and for the money you pay, I really don't see how it can be a 49k car. Buckets are shite compared to the Type R. Then there was a GLA that A45 specced up with the aero kit etc for 57k an I just struggled so hard to find how there was 8k more car on something that was already a scandalous price in my mind. Barmy prices for cars these days, either that or I really took the wrong route going down an engineering career!

If it was anywhere near £49k I'd be agreeing!
£3k off list price is a given, and then negotiations start. X-demo's are around £39 to £41k and few are base models without upgraded wheels etc.

You obviously aren't a fan which is fine. The seats are superb and don't put pressure on your thighs like the Type R seats do. I know the issue of numb legs in the Type R sears on long journeys isn't just me. The interior quality is superb.

I love the Type R and CLA45, maybe I will change/maybe not.

New boots fitted via Apex Tyres in Peterborough with gold standard service as always.

That reads wrong looking at it now!!!

Eventuri testing on the abrasive Bruntingthorpe surface took a chunk of life out of the tyres.

The pot hole was courtesy of the Highways Agency on the A1.

thats all in vat fitted tyres but i will say i was on the hunt for tyres and regular checked all web sites for about 3 weeks till i saw this deal and then pounced

just checked and black circle are offering £392 ( 245/35/19 } which is only £8 than i paid

and £364 for the 235/35/19

i went for the slightly wider 245 to gain abit of rim protection and grip the 235 contis always seemed to be over stretched on the rim

Sorry Stu mate. Was aimed at Chrissycnufc31 in the post above mine. My fault for not quoting his post bud. £295 for 2 seems a bargain.
