There were two updates made available in the Honda App Centre this afternoon.

One update was a general system update and the other was an update to the Honda App Centre itself.

The system update installed fine. The update to the Honda App Centre appeared to install fine but then the App Centre restarted and that particular update was available for download/installation again.

Has anyone else tried to install these two updates?

Oh I've had the constant update-restart-loop several times with App Centre in the past, think it only really reset itself overnight in the end.

Not tried this update yet though, anything new in it?

I haven't noticed anything new since the update.

The update restart loop does eventually resolve itself then?

This morning it's showing no available updates. You were right :-)

One of the updates does appear to have cleared the Spotify app permission entry that I added using Mike's tool. I had to add that back in, to allow Spotify to work again whilst the car is in motion.

I still haven't noticed any other differences though.

This update has made it impossible to install new apps by renaming them to HondaAppCenter.apk. The install button remains greyed out even if you set the correct apk name.

Looks like Honda have closed that loop hole.

Hey Buddy.

No, you can still install 3rd party apps but it requries some additional work. It's there on XDA , if I can find the post I'll link to it.
