The largest Civic Type R club forum

Established in 2002 it brings together people from all over the world to discuss their one love of Type R's.

Have a recipe to share? It doesn't matter if its cheesy beans on toast or Foie Gras, or maybe some cooking tips that could make Heston Blumenthal look like a rank amateur? Then post them in here and let the world know.

Currys had an offer an a krups dolce gusto melody pod coffee machine!

I'm a big coffee geek with my own grinder and machine etc and the krups machines are great!

Bought one this Christmas for a gift!

Along time ago I had a tassimo also good!

Tassimos are good if you have a cheap supplier of the replacement discs, otherwise it's an expensive brew, we have one at work but it got abandoned because no one wants to fork out for them and we get normal tea/coffee on the company.

Totally agree, tassimo is the most expensive!

Usually £3.50 for 8 cups if its with milk or 16 drinks if its just an espresso shot!

Tassimo all the way, bulk buy your pods with reputable supplier on eBay works out about 30p a cup,

The costa lattes are same as a latte from costa shop, tried them all, we even leased one of those fancy ones at work , 'twas shite and a 5k machine, this tassimo was £50 from currys and seems too good to be true, plus no real mess at all

Even better, get an Aeropress - bit like a French press.

You get a nice cup of filter coffee, you're not restricted to what the pods/discs sell and it takes about 10 seconds to wash after use because the coffee grounds are compressed into a nice disc that pops out into the bin.

Got one for xmas and it's win.
