Just of late I have gotten into cooking quite a bit and wass wondering if anyone was into cooking on here also.

I am after a semi decent knife set nothing too expensive but something goos and sharp as the ones I have are Argos cr@p and are as blunt as a fukcing desert spoon!!!

I have Porsche Chroma Type 301 and I love them. Whichever you go for you'll be made up, there is nothing better for cooking than a good set of knives and a good set of pans

Any ceramic knives in stock Stu and are they that much better than the Global stuff we've already got?

We've got a selection of Global knives and I can't fault them.
I tend to mainly use the same one though, my veg cleaver although it's not so good for stabbing with.




How much for a Dualit kettle Stu?

@ Chris, Ceramics aren't that good for domestic kitchens to be honest as they take a lot of looking after.
The global knives are good value to be honest. I have a set of Global and some Wustoff knives and they're just as good as global in terms of blade quality.

@Cat, Dualit is over rated imo, but its a good selling product.

They've got this funky inner support thing going on where the handle is the same piece of metal as the blade but doesn't look like it:
