The largest Civic Type R club forum

Established in 2002 it brings together people from all over the world to discuss their one love of Type R's.

Have a recipe to share? It doesn't matter if its cheesy beans on toast or Foie Gras, or maybe some cooking tips that could make Heston Blumenthal look like a rank amateur? Then post them in here and let the world know.

We've got a selection of Global knives and I can't fault them.
I tend to mainly use the same one though, my veg cleaver although it's not so good for stabbing with.

If people drop me a pm I'll need to check the stock of what people are asking for as we employ someone who looks after all the kitchen equipment sales.

@ Chris, Ceramics aren't that good for domestic kitchens to be honest as they take a lot of looking after.
The global knives are good value to be honest. I have a set of Global and some Wustoff knives and they're just as good as global in terms of blade quality.

@Cat, Dualit is over rated imo, but its a good selling product.

We have a set of Global knives and as long as you keep them sharp they're fantastic

My other half has been collecting these I O Shen knives...

They've got this funky inner support thing going on where the handle is the same piece of metal as the blade but doesn't look like it:

He'd better do some bloody cooking with them!! :bad-words:

I do like the Global stuff though; they look very tidy.
