How is the 340i going?

I'm going to replace the 235i with one due to needing four doors now.

Yeah love it. Sweet engine, plenty of go, gearbox is nice(though not as involving as a manual). Will do 40mpg on a long run(if you take it steady), however I am averaging 24mpg over 6k miles of ownership. 80% of my journeys are short though and I tend to use sport mode.

Too easy to hit silly speeds.

I would also fit the power and sound kit from BMW, I love the M performance exhaust pops and crackles!

Have been looking at exhausts but cba. Little bit of pop/crackle when in sport mode but otherwise its fairly quiet unless you boot it. Even then its not exactly loud, though I do like the noise on full chat.

Majority of sound inside the car from the sound symposer via speakers. You can control the level using freely available software if you have an appetite for more 'straight 6 brumm' without buying hardware for the car.

Its not the engine note as such, its the exhaust. Sport/Sport+ opens a flap or something.
