The point is it doesn't need any of them and you can get them all on a Toyota Aygo. And, seriously, you classify a limited slip diff as high tech? And an optional sat nav? Jesus, you're strugging for that argument, aren't you? And no, it doesn't have Blutooth. In fact, mine didn't even have an iPod option, hence having to use an FM transmitter. There is nothing on an RX8 that you don't get on a bog standard shopping trolley. The Legend, on the other hand, is dripping with pointless sh-t like the hilarious rumbly lane change detection thing and park assist, just as you'd expect on a blue rinse barge. It wouldn't surprise me to find that it shouts your name at you every 5 minutes, in case you'd forgotten, and as one way absorbent seat trim to filter away the urine. I bet the cup holders are actually mug and flask holders as well.

Ali.......without wanting to make you look even more silly, why are you comparing a luxury saloon to an RX8? The new RX8 has bluetooth matey. The fact you say it doesn't need the gadgets on the RX8 but still does shows where the market for the car is.
Oh and by the way, the Legend doesn't get park assist which just goes to show how little you actually know.

The Legend is in a sector where gadgets and assists are the required standard and if you think they aren't you really are as daft as a brush.

Not really. Ali as per usual is comparing cars he would buy or has already owned against cars that he isn't in the market for. He's also by admission never driven one yet has raved in the past how he'd love to see the Legends drivetrain in the Accord. So what would the difference be there then? At the end of the day others have noted this about Ali sometimes, in that if he doesn't like something it automatically means its rubbish. It's different cars for different people & Ali seems to always forget that.

Put it this way my Dad is more than happy with his Legend. It's fast enough to see off most day to day cars, comfy enough to do long trips in and not feel like you've had your back put through a mangle, and handles well enough to put a lot of so called nimbler cars to shame. The fact you don't like it Ali is absolutely and utterly irrelevant mate.

i would say its very simple as i have taken quite a few apart now..

simple for sure but no good imo..

there dreadfull engines..

lack any power low down and are so bloody thirsty ...

They are simple but they aren't dreadful. They are a nice smooth powerplant but like Honda engines you have to ring its neck to get anything useable out of it.

really? i thought they had to go to 'specialist' garages for engine work, servicing etc??
