Anybody have metal tyre valves on their OEM wheels?
Every time I have a tyre changed over the rubber valves look to be perished.
So was wondering if I should change over to metal valves.
Would metal valves not bite into the paint on the outside of the wheel when tightened up - which I presume will be from the outside? I have noticed thast some metal valves have a plastic seal on the 'outside'.
I have been looking at Richbrook aluminium metal valves.

I had metal ones once and they froze solid one winter had to get them cut out and new rubber ones fitted , don't do it

My workmate ad them fitted once, they rusted solid & had to be cut off
