Anyone now what size tyres the guys are running on the Evo 8 wheels on the Civic Cup cars. I'm stuck at what size tyre I would use. Best for handling.

Don't think the size they use is best for grip, but controlled by the regulations

4. Sizes:

Class A: Front and Rear: 205/50/15 or 195/50/15

Class B: EP3 Chassis Front and Rear: 215/45/17

Class B: FN2 Chassis Front and Rear 235/40/17

They looked quite flush for a 215/45. Think they would look wider if there track tyres

Track tyres tend to be a little wider than your standard road tyre.

I think I read somewhere that the NS-2R's are approx 5-10mm wider than advertised.

I've heard people say certain tyres are wider etc. I'd ideally like to run 225/40/17 but it seems that tyre size doesn't exist. I'm worried the rim would get ruined on the 215/45/17 on bumpy B roads
