I'm trying to find out how old my tyres are. I've been reading how to ready the codes but struggling on my Potenza re040's. Can any one post a pic of theirs who understands how to ready it so I can follow suit? Pleeaase.

Straight forward mate it will be on the sidewall and it will be four numbers. The first two are the week and the last two are the year the tyre was made. Look for the numbers usually in a square or oblong smoothed patch about 1/2 long.

Yeah that's what I thought. I've googled images and the closest I'm getting on my tyres is k0102 but it isn't in the boxed area as such. You got potenza's on yours?

Have you checked both inner and outer tyre walls? Date stamps are typically only on one side and not necessarily the outer sidewall.

Not got Bridgestones on mine mate but typically if the tyre is asymmetrical the date stamp is on the outside. Keep looking you will find it lol! And when you do you will me like how did I miss that lol!
