Im after a set of Semi-Slick (Track - Fast Road) tyres for my EP3 on my OEM wheels. What options do I have?

Im thinking RE070, KU36's, RSR's or such like.

205/45/17
215/45/17
225/45/17

Thoughts and pictures please.

Ad08's are £614 for four delivered

Not dissapointed by my RSR's at all - £420 delivered and fitted and they grip like sh-t to a woolen blanket

Another for rsr's, good tyres for the price. i paid £344 from tyre leader

I used R888s before them and the difference isn't all that big as the price would suggest

I'm actually looking for new tyres as well. Planning to do some trackdays this year but is also used as a daily driver.

You mentioned 225/45/17 on OEM wheels? Will they fit ?

I use re070s on my dc5 but you have to get 225 45 17 as they don't make them in 205 or 215. Unbelievable grip super stiff sidewall and hold up to abuse very very well. After my last set of tyres being eagle f1s asymmetric 2s which I loved I nearly bought some more....glad I opted for re070s now they are AMAZING! And at 80 quid a tyre from camskill an absolute bargain!!

Agree on everythind said here Nd they are still practical as a road tyre as well!!

Just started using Nankang NS2 Rs as a track tyre. So much more grip than a standard road tyre. I expect they are equivalent to RSRs and they're cheap!

Would running semi slicks on the road warrant a baffled sump?

I'm considering a sump baffle but not just yet probably be next beginning next year but I need tyres now

I suppose that would depend on how you drive it on the road. I can't see it being a problem, if it is you have very nice roads near you

A few twisties near me like

Could always over fill oil slightly as most do on trackdays without a baffle sump
