that's on the same width wheel but if it's being stretched over a wider wheel then the sidewall won't be straight as it should be like |‾| but a little like /‾\ - surely that will effect the rolling diameter a little? (bringing it down somewhat)

Correct - I have no idea what the exact effect on diameter this would result in - Obviously it will reduce it, but by how much feck knows
