what difference does it make, they look ok, its not a part that makes any different to performance, is just a cosmetic thing, so i would go for it.

1 Resevoir Cover/Sock
Fire Retardant to help protect Master resevoirs
Help prevent fluid leakage from brake and clutch resevoirs
Simply slides over resevoir ensuring resevoir edge isnt exposed
Other Covers/Socks available, please see my other listings

Thats why I asked regarding the quantity.

And let be honest, fake ones could just be normal "sweat bands" which wouldnt be fire retardent, in a hot engine bay. I sat my Science Exams a long time ago, but I remember enough to know that fire is bad....

If you overfill your brake fluid res, sometimes it can explode on heavy braking throwing flammable fluid into your hot engine resulting in massive explosions.

thats exactly what happened to those red arrows that went down.

Come on mate, in all the years I've been driving I've never seen a split brake reservoir during normal driving. Do you feel you might have over exaggerated slightly?
