My car is just under 48k so coming up to the 50mark. Big service of course. Now I get my local garage, who are sh-t hot on vehicles, especially the type r, after running a team in the brit 24hour using a ep3

to do the service.
I always like to provide the goods, as a friend works in the trade that provides all car items from paint to bulbs ect ect.
DO I get the plugs changed at this service?????

you don't say what year your car is as the service internal is not just determined by mileage,.. IIRC the big service is at 72k ir 6 years

so that is the 7th annual service (87k)... the plugs should have been changed on the 6th annual service (75k)...
.. if they weren't changed last time then they need changing now

platinum ones are pretty hard wearing and long lasting but i agree frequent changes wont hurt... my neighbour had a plug tip drop off inside his S2000 engine and it caused all kinds of hell...
.. The OP need to change his urgently, especially is they were in the car from the build date
