Coolice's Type-R Sill Decals
About 1.5 hour
Small flat head screwdriver
Hair Dryer
Nail Polish Remover + Wool Pads
Metal Polish
Pair of Gloves (to stop any cuts to yourself)
1. Remove the sills from your car. They just pop off; I did it with my fingers just go easy so as not to break any of the clips.
2. Confirm sills are still looking rubbish!
3. Remove the metal part using a flat head screwdriver
4. Pull off as much of the sticker as possible, use a hair dryer to get any stubborn parts off. Put food in oven!
5. Attempt to scrub off remaining residue using soapy water
6. Be careful not to cut yourself! They're sharp as out!
7. Use nail polish remover and some wool pads and make short work of it.
8. Wash the plastic element of the door sills with soapy water.
9. Rinse them off in the bath
10. Eat the most boring tea ever and wash up to keep missus happy
11. Dry off sills and use metal polish if you want a better finish
12. Apply decals to the sills. The lettering on these is slightly bigger than the original so really easy to get it right.
13. Fit back into the plastic casing. Use handle of your screw driver to flatten down and then the flat head to pinch them snug to the plastic.
14. Admire finished look
15. Fit back to car, just pop back into position with little effort.
Great result for £6.50 and a bit of time
