Right I've snapped 2 long 1/2 bars trying to get them off, I've pushed the lip out and I heated it up, are they standard threads any help would be greatfull

Get an impact gun on them mate, a lot easier. Or put the car in 4th gear, have someone press the brake pedal, 1/2 inch breaker bar with a scaffold pole that should get them off.

Where abouts in the country are you?

I'm in the south east mate, I've managed to get them off, I had to get a 3/4 bar and I had a 2m length of tube on the end of it heated the nuts up and I still bent the bar :Waks:

You'll be happy to know that when you torque them back up to 134 ft/lbs (off the top of my head), it's a lot easier :lol:
