Anyone know how much of a mission it is to fit prem seats to a non-prem ep3 at all please? All help appreciated

Have you got the prem recaro rails? If so, take out the seats and rails then add the new ones job done.

Are the prem rails different to the none prem?

Yes. Although both seats are made by recaro.
The mountings are different to the seats.

if only it was that easy fitting my trendlines in my DC5. had a look at the passenger one today and it looks like im going to have to drill a couple of new holes in my rails to fit onto the baseplate

the seats were out of an evo 5 originally, but being the same seats as the premier i thought it couldn't be 'that' different when bolting my rails to the seats but guess i was wrong.

will be interesting lining it up correctly so i drill it in the right place.

Why remove DC5 recaros!?!? Their awesome. Or are you just popping them out for a good wet vac session and need the car?

horses for courses mate. i'm not a fan of them.

i'd like them if i was on the track, but the DC is my everyday car and I find them just too restrictive. I'm not a big guy either so I do fit in them perfectly, just don't like them.

It's partly down to the fact I hate interiors that match the car and having a blue car means i have blue door cards, carpet and seats and its too much.. i'll be putting a black carpet in and the trendlines i have are black in the middle and blue on the bolsters which will go with the blue doorcards.. will look nice i reckon without being too 'blue'
