The below steps are intended to help you through the installation of the genuine Honda fog lights P/N: 08V31-S5S-611. You will be supplied with definative instructions with the part, therefore the instructions and pictures below are there to supplement those supplied with the part.

Step 1. http://www.mattnsteph.f2s.com/Step%201.JPG

Step2. http://www.mattnsteph.f2s.com/Step%202.JPG

Step 3. http://www.mattnsteph.f2s.com/Step%203.JPG

Step 4. http://www.mattnsteph.f2s.com/Step%204.JPG

Step 5. http://www.mattnsteph.f2s.com/Step%205.JPG

Step 6. http://www.mattnsteph.f2s.com/Step%206.JPG

Step 7. http://www.mattnsteph.f2s.com/Step%207.JPG

Step 7.1 Removing the bumper.
Pull the plastic arch liner clear of the bumper. Then start at the arch end of the bumper and pull firmly. The bumper will start to come out of its clips. It will take a little bit of force so don’t worry!!! Work your way around to the other side. (Note: once the side edges of the bumper are free you can get your arm behind to help push the front out of its clips. The clips are below the lights). The bumper will now be free to move to where you want.

Step 8. http://www.mattnsteph.f2s.com/Step%208.JPG

Step 9. http://www.mattnsteph.f2s.com/Step%209.JPG

Step 10. http://www.mattnsteph.f2s.com/Step%2010.JPG

Step 11. http://www.mattnsteph.f2s.com/Step%2011.JPG

Step 12. http://www.mattnsteph.f2s.com/Step%2012.JPG

Step 13. http://www.mattnsteph.f2s.com/Step%2013.JPG

Step 14. http://www.mattnsteph.f2s.com/Step%2014.JPG

Step 15. http://www.mattnsteph.f2s.com/Step%2015.JPG

Step 16. http://www.mattnsteph.f2s.com/Step%2016.JPG

Step 17. http://www.mattnsteph.f2s.com/Step%2017.JPG

Step 18. http://www.mattnsteph.f2s.com/Step%2018.JPG

Step 19. Installing the switch.
Remove the furry cubby hole. It is fixed using two screws in the top and two clips (squeeze from the back to remove) at the bottom. Using your fingers push out the blanking plate. Push the switch into place and plug in the last remaining connector.

Now check that your window winds up and down.

Now turn on your ignition, your lights and press the fog light switch, jump outside and see the fog lights working :D

Now you have checked that all is working refix the panels in the drivers footwell and replace the bumper.

JOB DONE!

Its a pleasure Zangief. I just love the way the members of this site help each other. I have benefited from a few 'how tos' myself so i was pleased i could add one of my own to help out other club members.

my bumper didnt have oval bits to cut out, mine looks different to that, it tells you to drill out 6 pilot holes on each side which are actualy marked on the bumper and then cut the ovalish bit out. also the brackets i got with mine were different and they are official honda parts, maybe its cos mine didnt come with fogs and i bought the upgrade kit

Question on Step 16,

Inset single lead into 13 pin connector...

I got my kit yesterday, this is the only part I'm not sure on, is it the red lead with the pin on?, does it need to be pushed into an existing connector already plugged in?

Yes, its the red wire with a pin on.

You have to lower the fuse box that sits in the drivers footwell, the red wire is plugged into one of the connectors in the rear of the fuse box.

and then some black holder falls off the top of the fusebox which you then realise you can never put back and leave it off. Plus its a bugger getting the fusebox back in place!!!!

Hi, you can't actually turn it around. You need to squeeze yourself (headfirst) into the footwell. You probably need some help from a mate with a torch so you can see.

Its tricky but do-able.

hope this is of some help.
