Diluted Paint thinners or Nail Polish remover?

I'm doing my bulbs over the weekend so i will do a test on a small area and let you know.

I like the idea of Audi style Speedo - Bit unrealistic though, espcially seeing as the dial is black!

its not THAT unrealistic, EV1 Dials Are Black,They Light Up White With Red Around The Edge. (Some Models Had Blue Around The Edge Too)

This Pic Is The EM2 Coupe, Same Style, But The EV1 Has 160mph Dials And Higher Redline.

One of my bulbs is out so I need to get this done. Struggling to find those bulbs at the minute though, Halfords seem to have every other bulb. Will have to have a scour around and see if anywhere else has them.

Thanks for the guide, should make this much easier.

Hmm LED's are definately not a wise idea D:

although have ordered

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/260921330110? ... 1439.l2649
and
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/260874836467? ... 1439.l2649

Hopefully these will work fine (preferably the blue ones will be ok)...

blue indicator lights and the key light being blue look good...the blue doesnt really light the dashboard up properly :(

Cheers mate.

Just did mine but the 20 & 40mph still don't seem as bright. And the 4 it bright in the middle but has a couple of dim spots on it (the actual 4)

Anyone know why this is? Defective bulb?

It's got it's own bulb changed mine a bit ago, when you remove the bulb, the bulb it's self comes out of the plastic holder, as some dash bulbs it's all one thing and I'm sure it was just a small 2w capless bulb

Long time ago I had and Ep3 for 220k kilometers in[…]
