What do you guys think?

Does the fit look okay? Is the intake sitting abit lower compared to where the scoop is on the scuttle panel? Or is it because of the scuttle? I dont think the scuttle was cut enough, the kit just about fits in between.

Sorry about the poor pics, had to take them in the dark after work with the flash on using my 4s, and excuse the filthy engine bay i will hopefully tidy it up when I fit the tegiwa intake pipe on thursday.

Just need to find myself something that'll hold the scuttle in place, seems like it's fit in fine, but I dont want it flying off at any point

Hopefully give my engine bay a quick clean when I fit the Tegiwa intake pipe and take some more pics then

It may be sitting a little low but this isn't an exact science. I've seen them a lot lower mate. Yours will still be getting a perfect air feed so no need to worry about it IMO.

I tried to swap the intake pipe's over but I couldnt get the Tegiwa one on so had to take the whole kit off and put it all back on. Did it really quickly the second time as I knew what I was doing, I'm glad as I think it's now sitting better than before. Gave my whole bay a clean aswell.

Fitted mine today using your guide Blunty, thanks very much! Only thing that is bugging me is that my scuttle doesn't site as tight to the car as it did. Might just be the way I fitted it though was a bit of a jiggle to get it back on. I'll try refit in the daylight tomorrow.

OK the scuttle.......simple but awkward fix, you haven't secured all the clips, that's why it doesn't sit as secure or as flush to the windscreen. I had to apply downward pressure to the scuttle as I fitted it from the centre of the screen to the right.....basically insuring each clip got connected and slotted into place, I don't think all mine are in now, but enough are in that's it a nice tight fit. Just something to try [smilie=karls_thumb.gif]

Oh yea the clips are 'inside' the scuttle, look behind the plastic scuttle after you take it off and you'll see the slots [smilie=karls_thumb.gif]

Goes from the side of the cam cover to the silver tube below where the larger breather hose connects to the intake.

Hope that makes sense, you'll see it when you fit it.

When fitting the big intake do you have to take the short piece of rubber off the manifold or does mine go over it it's quite tight

Right I seem to be missing the sensor or something that goes into the left hole on the sfs hose mines just a pipe that's too big to fit on the hole. See pic 4
