As above, I know the sliders and guides can rattle - is that terminal?

Also I find it steers heavier one way than the other and is a little notchy. Is that just the motor?

The slider can be changed, not done it myself but I plan to in the future. The shock top mounts may also be warn which can affect steering feel and could possibly be making it feel heavy.

I've had the top mounts, rack slider, shocks, bushes, tie rods, drop links all changed - knock has come back, apparently the shocks are making the rattle (don't buy KYB shocks!! lasted 3 months)
