hi all,

looking at a HID kit for my facelift, so i understand that means h1 bulbs, and 6000k 35w is the general standard.. oh and need to purchase hid bulb holders too...

had a look on hids4u and they want £70, where as on ebay they range in price but are generally a lot lower...

like this one is £20:

anyone used that or anything similar?

surely thats too cheap to be any good?

then again i dont mind gambling for that price, just intrigued as to why they are so much cheaper?

would it be safer to go for one of the £40 kits on ebay then?

I brought a cheap and cheerful kit from eBay. I think total hid kit and bulb holders came to under £40. No issues yet 6 months on.

ok nice,

i just think £20 seems wayyyy too low compared to how much everyone else is charging, puts you off a bit if you know what i mean?

They're all the same made in China. You'll find the more expensive ones come in a nice box...
