Hi, Newb here, joined as I'm getting the fn2 in next couple of weeks & am now looking into audio.
I have in my other car, which im hoping to transfer over, hertz amp, hertz hi-energy 10inch sub & hertz hi-energy 6.5 inch front door speakers & was told I could easily fit these to the stock h/u in the fn2 with a kit that's going cost about 70quid, as as it's a gt I don't want to lose the sat navigation if possible.
My question is,
has anyone else done this? if so, any things i should be aware of?
Will I still be able to control the sub level on its own, as I do now with the pre-outs in my kenwood h/u?
Prob going use skinz n dyno in doors for sound proofing etc..

you need something called a hi/low converter which transfers the signal from the speakers to an RCA which cost around £15

Thanks. Will that allow me to strap the amp, sub & speakers to the stock h/u? Or is that for the sub pre outs so I can still control it independently of the the rest of the system?
