Decode OEM head unit

Got a second hand H/U off the facebook pages with a centre console as I'd wrecked mine!

Can't get the code though! Rang up Stockport Honda and they say without the original car's VIN they can't get the code? Yet in this day and age this surely can't be the case.

I've got the 2 4 digit codes from pressing 1 and 6 and obviously have my VIN for my car.

Can anyone help? Much prefer the look of the OEM stereo to my kenwood.

Saw that - thanks mate. Looks like it's my last chance! Do you know if it's a 4 or 5 digit code I need?

I used an ebay servicd for my old oem unit. 15 quid and had the code in a few hours
