Hi guys,

Just wanted to pick your brains.

i have a Vibe active subwoofer, its been working fine for years (approx 4-5years?) but the other day it stopped working.

Normally when its working, the vibe amp logo is lit red however its not lit at all so is not working.

The wiring all seems fine, i used a multimeter to check the 3 connectors (power, remote, ground) for power, remote and power are showing healthy volts so power is going in to the subwoofer but the amp is not powering on.

I took the amp off the enclosure to look at the internals, i cant see anything wrong/fried etc, anything else i can test? the fuse on the amp looks fine too.

My options i guess is replace parts if i can find if not buy another subwoofer (which the wife wont be happy about).

Thanks!

earth light?

I have 2 amps, both going to the same earth point, I would imagine if there was a problem then both of my amps (the other amp runs the 4 speakers) would not work either.

I used a multimeter and can confirm power going to the sub/amp but the sub/amp does not power on.

rechecked my cabling and rescrewed the power connectors etc, sub still not powering on.

I think its dead and the cost of a repair/spare will not be econmical so i guess i'll be looking for a new sub
