where did you use the moisture guards? never heard of them before! also what sound deadening did you end up using? dynamat seems to come up alot but at a premium.

I used Skinz sound deadening.

I think it's as good as dynamat.
I used the moisture guards on the speaker backs. The were secured by mounting them into the MDF rings.

Might try it out! Never sound deadened before, a lot of people seem to skin the inner side of the outer door shell and also the inner side of the inner shell, is that what you did?

Is a wave diffuser behind the speaker actually worth it? Never heard of them or moisture guards before I read this today! Guessing this is how yours looked with the moisture guard?
