My chrome factory tail pipes need a bit of TLC. They are quite tight at the top to the rear apron so l wondered if l can easily undo a bracket/hanger whatever to get at the whole trim. I use Autosol paste unless you guys can suggest a better cleaner.

the back box is hanged on the body supports through 2 rubbers. if you get the rubbers out from one of the sides it will lower the pipes but don't know by how much. It will be a little hard to remove the rubbers with car standing on the ground due to the position. it worth a try
